Pizzaiolo Chef
A unique opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, talented Pizzaiolo to join our team.
Are you passionate about Italian food? Have you experience in making authentic, hand stretched pizzas with home-made dough?
Fancy joining an experienced team of Italian chefs in a fast paced busy kitchen in one of York’s longest established independent Italian restaurants?
Responsibilities
- daily preparation of home made dough and bread using our traditional recipe
- preparation of all fresh ingredients
- management of a busy pizza line during busy evening service
- assisting other chefs with food preparation
- assisting other chefs during service
- Keeping high standards of personal & food hygiene
- ensuring section is compliant with health & safety regulations
- ability to multitask and work under pressure

Kitchen Porter
We are looking for a determined and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team.
This will be a fast-paced position essential to the running of both the kitchen and front of house. You will be working in our Kitchen Porter area, washing pots and dishes/cutlery and assisting the chefs. Good communication is required with chefs and Front of House. You will be required to prioritise important tasks during busy evening service.
Experience appreciated, but not required. A willingness to work hard and learn quickly is key.
Evenings only, Tuesday to Saturday from 5.00pm. Full and part time positions are available. Pay is competitive.

Waiting Staff
Full and/or part-time waiting staff required. Evenings only. Previous experience in a busy restaurant environment and a passion for food and drink required. Knowledge of Italian language and Italian cuisine preferable. Individual should have excellent customer service skills and have the ability to remain calm under pressure. References required.
